Kristin Allen
Founder and Director Emeritus

Kristin Allen began competing in acrobatic gymnastics at nine years old. She and her acrobatics partner, Michael Rodrigues, won the World Champions in 2010, and became the first Americans to win the World Games in 2009. They were inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2009.

In 2011, Kristin teamed up with Bob Meier to found the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation as a way to give back to the sport that gave her so much.

After retiring from competitive sport, Kristin went on to perform with Cirque du Soleil, the Kellogg’s Tour of Champions and Broadway’s production of “Pippin.” In 2020, she received her B.S. in Business Administration and her MSL in Business Law from the University of Southern California.

Kennedy Swanson Moore
President

Kennedy Moore is currently an Athlete Representative on the USA Gymnastics Acrobatic Technical Committee, Region 4 judge, and competitive club coach. Prior to transitioning into professional roles within acro, Kennedy competed as an athlete for 7 years. During that time, she was in a Junior Elite Women’s Pair as a National Team member from 2009 to 2012 and World Team member in 2010 and 2012. Kennedy competed in a Senior Elite Women’s Trio prior to retiring in 2013 to attend college. 

Kennedy’s involvement with the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation started in 2018 as a committee member charged with helping plan the annual #iheartacro Bash. Her passion for the Foundation led her to become a Board member in 2019, where she served as Secretary until transitioning to President in 2023.

Carrie Tennis
Treasurer

Carrie Tennis was introduced to acrobatic gymnastics when her daughter began competing in 2012. She transitioned from parent to head coach of the program just two seasons later. Today, she is a gym owner, a coach, a Region 4 judge, and the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation Treasurer. In addition, she has been a presenter at National Congress representing the acro discipline. She has a passion for growing the sport of acrobatic gymnastics through education and outreach.

Leslie Douglas
Secretary

Leslie became part of the acro community when her daughters started in 2003. She has been a Meet Director since 2010 and a judge since 2018. She works as a contracted employee for USAG to help run events. She is currently the Regional Administrative Chair for Region 1.

McKena Pritchard
Director of Information Technology

McKena’s passion lies in growing acrobatic gymnastics and making it accessible for everyone. McKena founded the first acrobatic gymnastics team in North Carolina and she is involved in numerous boards and projects across multiple USAG disciplines, as well as being a certified judge in four disciplines. As part of her work, she strives to create opportunities for individuals to participate in the sport regardless of their background or skill level. In addition to her involvement in acro, McKena is skilled in creating systems that streamline communication and organization.

Lisa Estep
Director of Social Media

Lisa Estep has been involved with acro since 2010 as a parent and volunteer photographer for the Texas Acrobatic Gymnastics Association and other Acro events.     She also assists with social media for TX Acro, and has been the Social Media Coordinator for the Acrobatic Gymnastics Foundation since 2017.   Her goal for all her work is to showcase athletes' best moments, recognize their accomplishments, and strengthen the acro community through social media.

Marcia DeGuire
Director of Special Events

Marcia DeGuire has been involved in Acrobatic Gymnastics for over 30 years. Marcia was an Athlete, Choreographer, and eventually the Head Coach of Power Club Express in St. Louis, Missouri. Since retiring her coaching position, Marcia's focus has been to promote the growth of Acrobatic Gymnastics in each Region. Marcia is a Nationally rated Judge, and a Clinician for Start Up Clubs and Regional Athlete clinics.

Sabina Knight
Committee member

Sabina is excited to give back to the Acro through her role with AGF. After Sabina found Acro she never looked back! She competed for over 16 years with numerous titles including Elite National Champion, USA National Team member (10+ years), and was a member of 3 World Championships teams. Sabina is also a Region 1 coach, judge, and parent! Sabina is an attorney during the day and when she isn’t in the gym, she can be found at a horse show supporting her daughter in Hunter Jumpers.

Melinda Bartlett-Blante
Committee member

Melinda Bartlett-Blante discovered acro in 2011 during a show at her daughter’s gym. Since then, she has been there to support her daughter, the WCTC team, Region 1, and Team USA.  She drove carpool, did countless amounts of buns, applied thousands of rhinestones, and took even more pictures. She has started sharing her acro photography with the rest of the community and volunteers where she can. Melinda is excited to join the AGF board to support the sport and the athletes in yet another way.
